TIMBERLAKE WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS

Huge oaks encapsulate this picturesque home located less than 20 minutes north of Raleigh,

North Carolina on Highway 401. The beautiful Timberlake Historic House offers a magical backdrop for weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners. Whether you visit for business or pleasure, the experience at Timberlake promises a memorable and relaxing return to a simpler time.

Georgian-Federal in character, Timberlake has developed in several stages, the original portion

built ca. 1803 by Lark Fox. Timberlake exhibits decorative Flemish bond chimneys and a grand Neoclassical-style portico. It is one of a group of large plantation houses of late eighteenth and

early nineteenth century construction that have survived in Franklin County.

Today the property is on the National Register of Historic Places and is now opening its doors

for weddings and events. The owners of this venerable old home, Joe and Sonja Webb (high school sweethearts originally from Franklin County) were married at Timberlake. They would like to offer guests an old colonial atmosphere where elegance and simplicity meet southern charm.
